Daily puzzle games like Wordle and NYT Games
Looking for another daily puzzle? Each game has one shared challenge a day, the same for everyone, free in your browser with no sign-up. Try the daily board and compare scores, then keep going in Free Play, where nothing counts.
If you like word dailies, try Pivotile
Turn a group of four letter tiles around a pivot to change which letters sit together. You have six rotations for the round and trace six different words through neighbouring letters, including diagonals. Longer words multiply their letter values by their length, so a longer route can be a rewarding find.
How to play: Tap a pivot to rotate tiles, then drag through letters to submit a word.
If you like sliding-block puzzles, try Unblock
A red block is trapped in a yard full of other blocks. Each block moves only along its length, so clearing the exit means finding room for the pieces in its way. Each daily board has a par based on the fewest slides needed to solve it; see if you can match it.
How to play: Slide the blocks to clear a path for the red piece to leave through the gap.
If you like Hashi and logic grids, try Bridges
Numbered islands need to become one connected group. Each number tells you how many bridges touch that island; bridges run straight to the nearest island and cannot cross. A pair of islands can share up to two bridges, so each connection changes what remains possible.
How to play: Drag between neighbouring islands until every number is met and all islands connect.
If you like classic Minesweeper, try Minesweeper
Uncover safe squares while using the numbers to find the mines. Each number counts the mines touching that square, including diagonals, and the daily field starts with a cleared patch. Every field can be solved by reasoning from that opening, without a guess.
How to play: Reveal safe tiles and flag suspected mines until every safe square is open.
If you like colour matching games, try Ringlink
Link neighbouring rings of the same colour to clear them and make room for new ones. A longer link scores more, and closing a loop clears every ring of that colour on the board. The rings have inner marks too, so you can match their shapes as well as their colours.
How to play: Drag through matching rings up, down, left or right, and loop back for a colour clear.
If you like number puzzles, try Tally Tiles
Find a path of number tiles that adds up to the target. When you make a match, those tiles clear, new ones drop in and another target appears. Each target comes from a route on the visible board, and longer paths and a run of correct sums can increase your score.
How to play: Drag through neighbouring tiles until their sum matches the target, then release.
If you like colour sort puzzles, try Pourline
Sort coloured layers until each tube holds a single colour. You can pour onto a matching top colour or into an empty tube, and a whole run of matching colour moves together. The final tube starts locked and opens after six moves; each daily puzzle has a reachable par.
How to play: Tap a tube and then a destination to pour its top colour.
If you like Mastermind-style code guessing, try Code-breaker
Use the clue rows to find a code of colours; colours can repeat. Filled pegs show how many colours are in the right slots, while outlined pegs count colours in the code but in the wrong slots. The opening clues point to one solution, and fewer answers rank higher.
How to play: Choose colours for the slots, read the clue pegs and submit your answer.
