How to play Clonk Stack

A block glides left and right above your tower and bounces off the edges of the playfield. Tap the playfield, or press Space, to drop it. Whatever hangs over the block below is sliced off, so a sloppy drop leaves you a narrower block to work with on the next level.

Land a block within a hair of the one below and it snaps into place with a Clonk. A Clonk keeps the full width and starts a combo. Plain landings score 10 points. Clonks score 35, then 60, then 85, and 110 for every Clonk after that while the combo lasts. From the third Clonk in a row, each block grows back a little, up to the starting width.

If a block misses the tower, or overlaps it by only a sliver, it falls away and you lose one of three lives. The run ends after 60 seconds or when the third life is gone.

Blocks get faster as the tower climbs, each with a little variation of its own, and each one enters from the left or the right. Those speeds, sides and colours come from the daily seed, so every player stacks the same tower that UTC day.
