Ringlink tips
General habits that work on any day. Nothing here describes a particular day's board.
Go long
A link of n rings scores 10 × n × (n − 1). One five-ring link (200) beats five two-ring links (100 in total).
Hunt for squares
The smallest loop is a two-by-two square of one colour. A loop clears that colour across the whole board, 15 points a ring on top of the link.
Undo instead of letting go
Dragging back onto the previous ring removes it from the link. You do not have to release a short link you did not mean.
Clear low to move more
Rings fall into the gaps you make. A link near the bottom shifts more of the board than one near the top, which can line up new matches.
Match by mark
Every colour has its own inner mark. Reading the marks is often faster than comparing similar colours.
Keep moving
The clock is 60 seconds. A good link now usually beats a perfect link you are still searching for.
